How Britain treats its heroes - and rewards its MPs!

June 2015: MPs are to receive an annual salary increase of £7,000 a year, which will result in a pension increase of around £2,000 a year. This pension increase is more than the total pension of £30 a week which some WW2 veterans receive as a result of the government's frozen pnsion policy. Those veterans not only fought for their country but also returned to help re-build a shattered Britain, paying their National Insurance contributions throughout their working lives in order to get a decent state pension in retirement. Those hero veterans have been betrayed by the British Government just as the military heroes of today are being betrayed.

This is how the UK Government treats those who keep Britain and its people safe. Shame on Parliament and its MPs!
